Greenway Rangers
Here are some of the guidelines associated with the Greenway Ranger
The Ranger must check this half-mile section at least once per
week during the months of April through October, at a minimum.                      
Rangers check the trails for potholes, litter, graffiti, safety problems,                
and any other concerns.

The City's Greenways manager and the Fort Wayne Police                              
Department provide the ranger special training.

The Ranger is issue a polo shirt, identification card from the FWPD, a
lanyard and plastic carrying case for the ID, garbage bags, litter                      
picker, gloves, a checklist with phone numbers/emails, and a FWPD                
911 code card to report problems.

Rangers must have cell phones.

Rangers must sign a hold harmless form with the City of Fort Wayne.

Rangers should be knowledgeable of the entire Greenway Network                 
to answer to trail users questions.
